About Kenneth

Kenneth was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is an illustrator, painter and teacher. At a young age, Kenneth exhibited a deep interest and showed great talent for drawing and illustration. At age fourteen he attended Hillcrest H.S. and entered into the Art Career Program that allowed him to take three classes of art every day.He also worked in the art office during his lunch period. His art teacher and Assistant Principal of the Art Department, Mr.Berman, found interest in Kenneth's artwork. He took Kenneth under his wing and kept him focused. It paid off. At the age of fifteen, Kenneth's work was selected and exhibited at the Queens Museum of Art. Soon after, his work was exhibited in many places including the Chemical Bank Art Focus where he won awards for Excellence in the Arts. He then won a full scholarship to Parsons School of Design. He majored in illustration and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1983. Kenneth also received his Masters of Fine Arts in painting from Lehman College in 2005.
